Morlife Fenugreek Tea. These whole fenugreek seeds make a delicious tasting tea, with its curry like taste. It has a variety of uses, but most commonly it has been used to increase breast milk production during lactation. Fenugreek seeds contain hormone precursors (diosgenin) that can increase milk supply - Its use was associated with increases by as much as 900%, however the mechanism of this action is unknown. It has been found that Fenugreek can increase a nursing mother's milk supply within 24 to 72 hours after first taking the herb. Once an adequate level of milk production is reached, most women can discontinue the Fenugreek and maintain the milk supply with adequate breast stimulation. However, some women may need to continue taking Fenugreek until the breastfeeding infant is weaned. 200 grams

I LOVE Fenugreek Sprouts. They are an excellent addition to a salad. To sprout them, simply soak 2-3 tablespoons of Fenugreek seeds in water (to cover) for 8-12 hours, or until they double their size. Then strain and put into sprouting jar. Rinse once or twice a day and shake the water off really well. They will start to sprout within days and by the end of the week, they will have grown lovely tasty tails on them and will be ready to eat.
