Directions For full soothing benefit aimed at long term support take 3 cups daily after meals, for 6 weeks. Can safely be taken longer for maintenance.
Pregnant woman who are experiencing morning sickness: Sip 1 cup slowly whenever required.
For infants and babies with digestive unease (given directly): Babies: 5ml (1 teaspoon) 3 x daily. 6-12 months: 1-ml 3 x daily. 1-4 years: 20-40ml 3 x daily. 4-10 years: 50-100ml 3 x daily.
Preparation: Take 1 teaspoon (1g) per cup (175ml), place into infuser, plunger or tea pot, pour over boiling water and infuse for 5-10 minutes. Do not microwave.

Fennel Seed: Fennel has been used traditionally to help with colic. It helps with stomach upsets, gas, bloating, cramps. Can help relieve the pain often experienced when a laxative has been taken. It relieves spasm's, usually of smooth muscle, such as in arteries, intestine, bile duct, and sphincters. It also stimulates the digestive system to work properly and with ease, soothing the gut wall, reducing any inflammation that may be present, easing griping pains and helping the removal of gas from the digestive tract.
Aniseed: This herb helps promotes digestion, improves appetite, alleviates cramps and nausea. As well as this it is helpful for cough's and colds and can help relieve flatulence, bad breath and in infants, colic.
Cinnamon: Has been used to stop vomiting, relieves flatulence. As well as this, it has a broad range of historical uses including the treatment of diarrhoea, arthritis, and various menstrual disorders.
Peppermint: This herbs is valuable in certain forms of dyspepsia, being mostly used for flatulence and colic. It may also be employed for other sudden pains and for cramp in the abdomen; wide use is made of Peppermint in cholera and diarrhoea.
Dandelion Root: This herb targets the liver, kidneys and skin. It gives tone to the entire digestive tract. This herb is one of the best available for inducing the flow of bile and gastric juice and it will stimulate the kidneys, gall bladder, bladder, liver, spleen and pancreas.
Licorice Root: Often added to teas to give that delicious licorice taste. Licorice works mainly on the adrenal glands, but is also considered to be a calmative and for supporting the adrenal glands during times of stress. As well as this it has been used as a hormone balancer, for hypoglycaemia, to support the adrenal glands, to help with stress, female problems (menstrual and menopause). Decreases muscle or skeletal spasms, and increases fluidity of mucous from lungs and bronchial tubes. Also used for coughs and chest complaints, gastric ulcers, and throat conditions.
Chamomile: Chamomile is helpful as a digestive aid and tranquilliser. Provides support of peptic ulcers and inflammatory conditions of the gastrointestinal tract. This herb is especially good for mild sleep disorders in children. It relaxes the uterus.
