Hemp seed oil is commonly used as in ingredient in such condiments as salad dressing and mayonnaise. It can be used as an ingredient in bread or other baking. Some people like to drizzle it on a baked potato, instead of butter, and others use it in pesto. We do not recommend hemp seed oil for frying as the high temperatures involved damage the nutritional value of it. Hemp seed oil has a rich, nutty flavour, which most people enjoy. For other customers hemp seed oil is taken as a dietary supplement, at a dose of one or two tablespoonfuls per day, to supply a good source of Omega 3 and 6 fatty acids.
It is ideal to use as salad dressings or mayonnaise. If taking as a dietary supplement take at a dose of one or two tablespoonfuls per day. Drizzle on food or take from the spoon, but do not heat, as this destroys the beneficial properties.
