Vitafit Haemoglobin 350mg per capsule. Raw Glandular for blood iron. 100% New Zealand Sourced. Haemoglobin tissue, the oxygen-carrying component of red blood cells, is a rich natural source of iron. This essential mineral helps maintain the oxygen supply around the body for cellular function and helps support energy production and a healthy metabolism. 350mg per capsule. 250 Capsules
A reduction in the amount and or size of haemoglobin in the blood reduces the amount of oxygen that haemoglobin can carry to the body cells (anaemia).
This can result in dizziness (due to lack of oxygen to the brain), weakness, fatigue, paleness, brittle nails, loss of appetite and abdominal pain.
Adults: Take 1-3 capsules daily.
Vitafit tell us about Haemoglobin Glandular
What is a gland?
A gland is an organ which secretes a substance or substances which perform a specific function in the body.
Glands and organs need nutritional replenishing, especially when we are under stress.
There are two types of glands - endocrine and exocrine. The endocrine glands secrete hormones directly into the blood, whereas the exocrine glands secrete externally into the skin or mucous membranes.
What is Glandular therapy?
Glandular therapy is also known as oral replacement therapy or organo therapy. "Raw" glandulars are tissue concentrates processed from animal glands and organs. They are used to improve the nutritional environment of the body's own glands and organs. These supplemental nutrients are referred to as "raw" because they are prepared at temperatures which never exceed normal body temperature (37 degrees celsius).
Glandulars are basically protein substances that carry hormones, enzymes, nucleo proteins, vitamins, trace minerals and other active factors into the body. Glandular supplements seem to have a `targeting' effect on "like" glands in the body.
The glandular tissues are freeze-dried to remove any water and preserve nutrient content and protein makeup.
What kind of Glandulars are available?
The following "raw" glandulars are commercially available: adrenals, thyroid, thymus, pancreas, pituitary, liver, brain, stomach, lung, heart, spleen, kidney, multiple organs, male (testes) and female (ovaries).
This is a complex protein of the blood which gives the colour to red blood cells. Haemoglobin is essential for the carriage of oxygen from the lungs to the muscles and other cells of the body for the production of energy.
Oxygen is carried in haemoglobin by binding to iron, an essential part of haemoglobin. In iron deficiency anaemia, body stores of iron are severely depleted, resulting in a low haemoglobin concentration.
A reduction of the amount and/or size of haemoglobin in the blood reduces the amount of oxygen that haemoglobin can carry to body cells (anaemia). This can result in dizziness (due to lack of oxygen to the brain), weakness, fatigue, paleness, brittle nails, loss of appetite and abdominal pain.
Haemoglobin glandular is a source of the mineral iron. As well as iron, there are other nutrients essential for the formation of red blood cells. A B-complex including folic acid, vitamin B12 and vitamin B6, as well as extra vitamin C, can work synergistically with Haemoglobin Glandular.
