Tebonin EGb 761 has been shown through a vast body of Internationally published scientific research to provide natural support for normal and healthy:
Tebonin optimizes the flow properties of the blood through capillaries, increasing the amount of oxygen supplied to all organs, tissues and individual cells throughout the human body. In addition, if effectively reduces the excessive free radicals and promotes optimum cell function.
The main areas tebonin has been studies in include tinnitus or ringing in the ear, vertigo and dizziness and improving microcirculation, for better capillary health and cognitive function.
For the symptomatic relief and management of tinnitus and vertigo, cerebral insufficiency, cognitive dysfunction and memory impairment, dementia, peripheral circulatory disorders and the maintenance of blood and peripheral circulation, capillary health and cognitive function. Tinnitus and vertigo are often associated with impaired blood flow within the inner ear and brain. Factors that may trigger or promote tinnitus or vertigo symptoms include stress, lifestyle, excessive noise exposure, side effects of some medications (ototoxicity), allergic reactions and aging.
Tebonin's efficacy in boosting brain function is one of the reasons researchers tested it as a possible treatment (and arguably a possible preventative) for dementia.
One study found that after 6 months treatment with Tebonin EGb 761, dementia patients "showed a significant difference in favour of tebonin," when compared with control groups receiving a placebo. The study concluded " Tebonin was found to be effective for cognitive functions in dementia" - no mean feat given the deterioration that goes with dementia.
But its the study just out at the end of April 2011 that's really opened up debate about Tebonin as a dementia treatment. More than 400 patients with mild to moderate dementia (including Alzheimer's), were given either tebonin doses for six months or a placebo. Researchers found the results were stunning.
"Treatment with EGb 761 was significantly superior to placebo for the symptoms of apathy/indifference, sleep/night time behaviour, irritability/lability, depression/dysphoria and aberrant motor behaviour." Even more usefully, as well as benefits to the patient, their caregivers reported major improvements in their own well-being, as a result of the patients being easier to care for.
Take one Tebonin 120mg tablet daily with some liquid (preferably water) either with or without food. For a more intensive use, take 2 tablets daily.
Tebonin is not suitable for those under 18 years of age. Tebonin should be taken for a minimum of two months before its benefit is assessed. Initial benefits may be noticed after two weeks and may improve over prolonged use.

Good blood circulation is essential for the human body to function properly. The human circulatory system can be divided into three subsystems, according to the size of blood vessels and their roles within the system. The circulatory system - arteries, veins and capillaries. A healthy circulatory system, which consists of billions of capillaries, is especially vital for good health. Not only do these tiny vessels distribute life-supporting oxygen and nutrients throughout the body, they also remove the metabolic waste products and carbon dioxide produced by every cell.
Impaired circulation can often go unnoticed until the effects and consequences are quite advanced.
Some of the early warning signs of Impaired circulation can include loss of energy, decreased mental alertness, lack of concentration, minor forgetfulness and decreasing ability to focus on tasks, discussion topics etc. Other signs can be hands and feet feeling cold more often, or the development of occasional slight unsteadiness, or mild ringing/whistling in the ears.
Tinnitus or ringing in the ear is a condition in which noises are perceived to be heard in the ears without any obvious external sound sources present. Depending upon the individual, noises can be described as ringing, whistling, hissing, clicking, droning, crackling or popping and can occur in one or both ears.
Tinnitus in acute cases often results in sleep disturbances, insomnia, functional disorders, depressive moods, as well as personality and lifestyle changes.
Vertigo or dizziness is a feeling that the floor beneath your feet is moving, the surroundings are revolving around you, or you feel like you are keeling over sideways or moving in a lift. Regardless of the particular symptoms experienced, those who suffer from vertigo just don't feel right and in acute phases vertigo is often accompanied by sweating, palpitations, nausea and vomiting.
