Pine Pollen Arrives
Thursday, August 16th 2007
Hayfever sufferers be warned - the pollen season is here. Pine pollen, among the earliest of the annual allergy-causing pollens, is starting to make its presence felt around the country.
"Soon the puddles will be ringed with yellow dust, and we will all notice dusty films appearing on cars, windows and smooth surfaces outside," said David Fountain of Envirotech NZ, who has produced a pollen forecasting service in association with MetService for the past 12 years.

Footnote from Ideal Health
If you suffer from allergy symptoms when the pollen comes out, have you ever stopped to think "Why am I affected by this but other people are not". Perhaps your immunity is poor and your general toxicity levels are high. When was the last time you completed a detox? What is your digestion like? 70% of your immune system is situated in your intestinal wall. If the environment in here is "unfriendly" this will directly affect your immunity. Taking a probiotic and/or colostrum can help here.
