Efamarine - Help for Joint Mobility and the Maintenance of Immunity
Monday, November 24th 2003
Efamarine is a patented formula containing 80% Efamol Evening Primrose Oil and 20% marine fish oil.
Nutritional deficiencies in good fats from the Omega 3 and 6 groups are linked to conditions such as poor joint mobility and low immunity.
When there is a deficiency of these good fats certain substances, called prostaglandins that regulate and protect the body, cannot be manufactured. PGE 1 prostaglandins have a therapeutic effect that maintains our immune system and cardiovascular health.
The reason good fats are important is that our body cannot make them and we must obtain them through the diet and supplementation.
The good fats from the diet need to be converted into longer chain fats so that the body can use them to make PGE 1 prostaglandins.
Efamarine works because it is a rich source of converted fats that help with joint mobility, improved wellbeing and the maintenance of normal cholesterol levels.
Clinical Trial Results
92% of patients taking Efamarine felt a subjective improvement in joint mobility and grip strength. The trial showed 60% of patients were able to stop taking their anti-inflammatory drugs and another 35% halved their dose.

Improved Wellbeing and Energy
85% of patients taking Efamarine felt better compared to 17% on placebo.
Blood fatty acid levels returned towards normal in Efamarine patients. They also showed a strengthened immune response.

Research evidence shows that replacing saturated fats with long chain polyunsaturated fatty acids leads to improved cardiovascular health. Helps maintain normal healthy blood pressure and cholesterol. Efamarine may assist in the management of cardio vascular health.
