Birth-aid is designed to follow Pre-Birth once labour has commenced. Use during labour and delivery and for two to three days following the birth to help reduce bruising, bleeding and pain.

Birth-Aid has been formulated to assist during and following childbirth to help in the recovery process following the shock and exhaustion of childbirth. As Birth-Aid is a homoeopathic treatment, it can be used during and following delivery without side effects to the mother or baby. Birth-Aid will not interact with any other medication that may be required.

Ingredients

Includes homoeopathic potencies of Arnica, Bellis Perennis, Hypercium and Hamamelis.

Dosage

Oral Spray

During birth - Use 2 sprays per dose orally at 5 to 10 minute intervals as necessary during labour

After birth - Use 2 sprays per dose orally 3 times a day as required.

Tablets

Acute - 2 tablets per dose at 5 to 10 minute intervals as necessary during labour. Suck the tablets for 1 to 2 minutes then either dispose of tablets or chew and swallow.

Precautions

Keep out of reach of children. Liquid and oral spray remedies are generally better given to babies and very young children than tablets. Tablet remedies are manufactured using a base of lactose (milk sugar). They are usually safe for diabetics, however professional advice should be sought if in doubt. They are not suitable for anyone with lactose intolerance. It is recommended that tablets not be given to babies and very young children. Liquid remedies are manufactured using a small amount of ethyl alcohol as a preservative in a water base. In a suggested dose (4 drops of liquid or 2 sprays of the oral spray) the quantity of alcohol per dose is so small as to be of no consequence. There has never been a recorded case of any harm coming to a mother or child at any time in pregnancy as a result of using homeopathic remedies. Likewise, there has never been a recorded case of harm coming to a baby when homeopathic remedies have been used during breastfeeding in accordance with directions for use.
