Ginkgo Biloba has an extremely beneficial effect on treating: Vascular insufficiency, Chronic cerebral arterial insufficiency (increase circulation to the extremities), increase cellular glucose uptake (increase nutrition to the brain), inhibits platelet aggregation (keeps blood thin), Demonstrates free radical scavenging activity (anti-oxidant activity), increases blood flow to the brain, improves the transmission of nerve signals. Also aids short term memory loss, vertigo, headaches, ringing in the ears, lack of vigilance, depression, intermittent claudications, diabetic peripheral vascular disease, Raynaud's Syndrome, Acrocyanosis (blueness of hands and feet) Phlebitis (inflammation of the veins). Assists short term memory, attention span and mood in early Alzheimer's disease, by improving oxygen metabolism in the brain. Helps with tinnitus and maintains alertness. Suggested Dosage

1 capsule twice daily with water at mealtimes. For a more intensive dosage, take 2 capsules twice a day with food or water. Please be aware that for those with a very sluggish circulatory system, it is better to start with 1 capsule at breakfast and then slowly increase to this twice a day. Try and have this at breakfast and lunch, rather than at dinner - as it may make your brain too active.
