Common Uses

The conditions that benefit from use of Devil's claw include degenerative disorders, joint inflammation, arthritis, rheumatism, gout, tendonitis, lower back pain, dyspepsia, mild hypertension, headache, allergy & neuralgia.

Suggested Dosage

Two capsules two or three times daily with water at mealtimes. Best results are obtained when the body is given a rest followed by two to three weeks of rest, then resume use. Also encourages limited intake of red meats.

Health Information

Devil's claw is a blood purifier that helps remove deposits in the joints and aids in the elimination of uric acid in the body. It reduces inflamed tissue whilst soothing and relieving pain. Predominantly used in the treatment of gout, rheumatism and arthritis. May also be used in liver disorders due to its ability to stimulate the gall bladder to increase the flow of bile, which helps digest fats in the diet. One of the constituent iridoids, harpagoside, is not only anti-inflammatory, but may also lower blood pressure and heart rate.

Ingredients

Each capsule contains 480mg of Devils Claw. Only the most active, secondary roots or tubers gathered from the wild in the desert foothills of South-western Africa are used.

Keep out of reach of children Do not use if you have diabetes. Persons with gastric or duodenal ulcers should consult a healthcare professional before use. Some rare cases or purpurea (bleeding under the skin) have been reported with concomitant usage of strong blood thinners such as Warfarin.
