For use as a vitamin A and D supplement. The recommended adult daily intake of Vitamin A from all sources is 2500IU. Just one capsule per day will ensures your full requirement of this vitamin is met. Cod liver oil can be helpful in conditions such as arthritis, acne, alcoholism, Crohn's disease, shingles, asthma, eye problems, bone fractures, muscle weakness, osteoporosis, and pancreatic or gallbladder disease.

Whilst Cod liver Oil contains some naturally occurring vitamin A and D, this formula is fortified with additional vitamins to make a high potency, one a day formula. Vitamins A and D are both fat soluble vitamins that participate in many biochemical reactions throughout the body. As a Vitamin A supplement, cold liver oil can be used for the health of mucous membranes, skin, as an antioxidant, to assist night vision and help relieve acne. As a vitamin D supplement, cod liver oil can be used to increase calcium absorption and assist in the prevention of osteoporosis. A deficiency of vitamin D may be associated with diarrhoea, insomnia and softening of the bones and teeth.

Ingredients

Each soft gelatine capsule contains: Cold Liver oil 275mg, Fortified to supply, Vitamin A (Retinyl Palmitate) 4000IU, Vitamin D3 (Cholecalciferol 10mcg) 400IU. No added lactose, salt, yeast, artificial colours, flavours or preservatives.
