Common Uses

Provides relief from sleeplessness, restlessness and mild anxiety. Calming, sedative and to induce sleep. For a long time, Valerian has been the most popular and superior herb to help people get relief from insomnia. Valerian is a herbal relaxant, that both calms mental activity, as well as relieves muscles tensions. Adults should use one to two capsules to help get to sleep, approximately half an hour before retiring. Alternatively, people can take up to three throughout the course of a day, to help relieve stress, muscle tension and mild anxiety. Other herbs included in this formula are Skullcap, Passionflower and Hops. Collectively, these herbs help reinforce the actions of Valerian, and will help relieve sleeplessness. These herbs are not sedatives and can be taken safely during the day. They are also non-addictive and should not leave users feeling drowsy in the morning.

Suggested Dosage

One or two tablets one hour before bed is the recommendation Thompson's make. Often this needs to be increased. Many people take 2 tablets 1-2 hours before bed and another 1-2 tablets at bed time.

Each tablet contains herbal extracts equivalent to dry: Valerian Root 200mg, Passion flower herb 200mg, Hops 150mg, Scullcap 100 mg, Chamomile 50mg. No wheat, sugar, starch, salt, yeast, gluten, artificial colouring, flavouring or preservatives.
