Suggested Dosage

Take one or two capsules daily or as directed by a health care professional. Ferritin is best absorbed when taken between meals. Increased Ferritin absorption is noted when taken together with 100mg of ascorbic acid.

Ferritin is a water-soluble iron storage protein present within cells. It is widely distributed in both plant and animal species which signifies an essential biological role. Ferritin provides a readily accessible store of iron for the synthesis of haemoglobin and the iron metalloenzymes. Ingredients

Each 1 capsule contains Ferritin 5mg (elemental) (from bovine ferritin and as aspartate).  Other ingredients: Cellulose, gelatin, magnesium stearate, silicon dioxide. This scientifically designed formula is free ofyeast, wheat and other common allergens.  The Ferritin contained in this product is an individually resolved, high molecular weight compound and is not a crude Ferritin complex.  Molecular weight: 445,000.

Safety Information

Keep out of reach of children. Ferritin is contraindicated in cases of acute pancreatitis due to the fact that one of the most frequent causes of this condition is hemochromatosis.
