Enjoy as a spread and in hummus, dressings and sauces or use in baking.

Here is the recipie for my "dip" which i use in so many different ways.  This is the basic recipie, which you can then alter by adding your favourite tastes (spices, fresh herbs etc) anything you choose really.

I mix 1 tablespoon of tahini, the juice of 1/2 a lemon, 1 clove of mushed garlic, salt and pepper to taste and about 3-5 tablespoons of plain unsweetened acidophilus yoghurt.  Mix together.  I either thin it down with water or more yoghurt. 

I use this for a dip for vegetables or crackers, but also pour it over steamed cauliflower, instead of white sauce.  Yumm

This is Leannes Hummus recipie

3 cups of cooked Chickpeas
½ a cup of tahini
½ a cup of oil
2 cloves of garlic
1 teaspoons of lemon juice
1 teaspoon of tamari, Braggs liquid aminos or soy sauce
½ a teaspoon of cumin
1 tablespoon of ground corriander
1 cup of water
1 tablespoon of chopped parsley

Mix together in a bowl.  Add to food processor in 1/2 a cup amounts and blend well.  Add more water in necessary.

Store in an air tight container in the refrigerator. 
 

Ingredients

Certified Organic Sesame Seeds.  Contains no additives, preservatives, colours or emulsifiers.  Oil seperation will occur naturally - simply stir with a fork or knife to blend.
