Brown Sugar Demerara 500 grams

Ceres Organics Brown Sugar. Demerara. This is a specialty light brown sugar with a sparkling appearance and larger golden crystals that are slightly sticky.  This sugar has a distinctly free flowing, crunchy texture thats good for sprinkling, but is also great for baking where a bit of extra crunchiness is desired.  It is made from organically grown sugar cane in a plantation with "biodiversity island' to promote native plants, birds and mammals.  The green cane is spread over the fields to provide nutrients and prevent soil erosion instead of being burned.
