Ceres has developed to be New Zealand's foremost distributor for Organic products;including dry goods, skin, body, hair care and colours, household cleaning and fresh produce. We started our journey with humble beginnings as a school fair stall in 1982, growing to a small business based in a garage. From here, a retail shop was established which still operates at 181 Ladies Mile, Ellerslie, Auckland and today we employ 70 people and operate a large warehousing facility and head office. Consumers are becoming more educated in relation to healthy and nutritional foods. Allergies are on the increase and the potential side effects of chemicals and genetic engineering in our food are of huge concern. Conventional household and skin care products hold their own problematic chemical overload situation, yet small changes in buying habits can make an enormous difference.
