Cayenne is beneficial to the heart and circulatory system. Cayenne exhibits benefits for the heart, circulatory and digestive systems. One of the most important uses of Cayenne is as a circulatory stimulant, a herb that feed the necessary elements into the cell structures of the arteries, veins and capillaries so that they regain elasticity and so that blood pressure returns to normal. If the blood cannot circulate freely, higher blood pressure is needed to force the blood though the veins. Cayenne equalises blood pressure, influencing the heart immediately. One of cayenne's most common uses is as a gastric stimulant and digestive aid. It rebuilds the stomach tissue and stimulates peristalsis, thus assisting in assimilation and elimination. Glucomannan covers the stomach with a mucilaginous coating, and in effect cools the cayenne by preventing it from coming in direct contact with the stomach lining. Mixed with Ginger, Cayenne does a wonderful job of cleaning out the bronchial tubes and sinus cavities and relieving all the problems of colds and congestion.
