Suggested Dosage

Adults:  Take 10ml once daily in a small quantity of water or juice.  Shake well before use.

A formulation to help improve vision and strengthen capillaries. One of the main herbs in this formula is Bilberry emerged as a medicinal herb in the 16th century when the dried berry tea was used for diarrhoea and dysentery. It was also used as a diuretic and was effective in helping prevent scurvy. Soothes sore, tired, red eyes. Assists eyes to adjust to glare and darkness. May be beneficial during times of stress. Useful for people who rely heavily on their eyesight such as computer operators, day/night drivers, readers, surgeons, surveyors etc. Bilberry contains Anthocyanosides, which possesses a significant collagen stabilizing action. Collagen is the most abundant protein of the body, responsible for maintaining the integrity of "Ground substances", as well as tendons, ligaments and cartilage. Collagen is destroyed during the inflammatory process that occur in many inflammatory health complaints. Anthocynanosides and other flavonoids are remarkable in their ability to prevent collagen destruction. It has been observed that the administration of Bilberry to healthy people improved their night time visual acuity, quicker adjustment to darkness and faster restoration of visual acuity after exposure to glare. Bilberry may play a significant role in the prevention and treatment of glaucoma, via its effect on collagen structures in the eye. Collagen provides tensile strength and integrity of the tissue i.e. cornea, sclera, lamina cribosa, trabecular meshwork, vitreous etc. In addition to this, Bilberry may be of benefit in the treatment of Chronic Glaucoma, as bioflavanoids have been demonstrated to lower elevated introccular pressure. As well as this, it has been shown that the anthocyanosides may offer significant protection against the development of retinal macular degeneration and cataracts, particularly diabetic retinopathy and cataracts. Preliminary research suggests that flavanoid components of bilberry may be responsible for the protective effects against cataracts and retinal degeneration.

Ingredients

Each 10ml contains extracts equivalent to dry; Bilberry fruit 3000mg, Eyebright Herb 1500mg, Ginkgo Biloba 1000mg, Siberian Ginseng root 300mg. In a base of non active Ethanol and Postassium Sorbate. Contains Glucose.  No added wheat, soy, sodium, gluten, yeast, starch, lactose, artificial flavours or colours. 

Safety Information

Keep out of reach of children.  Do not use this product if you are taking blood thinners such as warfarin, as this product contains the herb Ginkgo Biloba.  If symptoms persist, consult your healthcare professional.  Do not take if pregnant or breastfeeding.  Do not take this product 2 weeks before undergoing surgery.  Consult your doctor before taking this product following surgery.
