Common Uses

Provides immune support, and assists in the treatment and post-recovery of colds/flu, respiratory infections, mucous congestion, and slow healing wounds. Also useful in viral infections such as glandular fever and its immune re-building properties may make it useful in chronic fatigue. May also be useful post chemotherapy to help support body tissues.

Suggested Dosage

Take 3 capsules three times a day, preferably with a meal. After taking Echinacea for 6-8 weeks, a two week break is recommended before re stating.

Echinacea has an application in any infection, in any body system, especially those of the respiratory tract, urinary tract, gastrointestinal tract, skin and reproductive system.

Keep out of reach of children. In all cases of immune problems, seek professional advice before self prescribing. Not recommended for pregnant or lactating women, or for individuals with auto immune conditions. Though not supported by traditional usage and several experienced and respected herbalists, it has been recommended that if Echinacea is being recommended for long-term use, a maximum use of eight weeks is suggested with a one to two week break before resuming use. This is to help maintain maximum efficacy without over stimulation of the immune system.
