Fresh perspiration has little odour. With the influence of bacteria, fungi and skin enzymes the perspiration undergoes decomposing changes affecting the natural compounds of the perspiration. This results in an unpleasant odour. From oils, come bad smelling fatty acids (rancid butter), from protein come amines (fish like smell) and ammonia from urea. Deodorants work at different points within the emerging process of unpleasant smells by killing the inhibition of bacteria, by enzyme blockers, by perfume oils, or by absorption. If the number of decomposing micro organisms is reduced, the odour becomes less too. In conventional preparations the active substances influence the natural flora of the skin. And there is some indication that some substances such as aluminium may have toxic effects on the body.

Ingredients

Tea Tree Oil and Arnica in a base of Propylene Glycol, Sodium Stearate, Mixed Vegetable Starches, Purified Clay, Aloe Vera Gel, Soyaethyl Morpholinium Ethosulfate, Allantoin, Vitamin E, Methylparaben, Herbal Fragrances (Kiwi, Lilac, Hyacinth, Rose, Spice, Lavender & Seaweed) and Citric Acid.
