Common Uses

Assists calcium absorption, maintains nitrogen balance, effective against cold sores and herpes viruses, increases antibody production, needed for collagen production, helps to build muscle, lowers serum triglycerides.

Suggested Dosage

Adults: Take 1 tablet daily.

A more intensive dosage can be used if you have a cold sore.

The recommended daily dosage is: Infant 99mg/kg of body weight, Child 44mg/kg body weight, Adult 32mg/kg body weight.

NOTE: Vegetarians who avoid dairy products and rely on beans, nuts and grains for protein may take 1 to 6 tablets daily as an additional source of this essential amino acid.
