Studies have shown that Vitamins B6, folic acid, pantothenic acid and PABA have a close working association with inositol. Inositol is involved with cell membranes and messages that signal control functions of cells within the nervous system. Like choline, it is found in lecithin. Inositol is beneficial in the treatment of constipation, for balding, high cholesterol, aids in eliminating liver fat, diabetic neuropathy (along with choline), hypoglycaemia. Dr Carl Pfeiffer, at his Brain Bio Center, has been studying the effect of inositol on brain waves. Results have shown that his vitamin has an anti anxiety effect similar to that produced by Librium. He said that not only does it act like a tranquilizer without side effects, it can also be beneficial for insomnia.

Suggested Dosage

As a food supplement for adults, 1 or 3 vegetable capsules daily, preferably at mealtime, or as directed by a healthcare practitioner. Do not exceed directions for use.
