Common Uses

Vitamin C with hesperidin complex may assist in the treatment of colds by reducing the severity and duration of symptoms, relief of the symptoms of hay fever, assist in the maintenance of peripheral circulation and as a source of calcium. Vitamin c is also helpful for allergies, anaemia, atherosclerosis, bone fractures, burns, bursitis, cancer, cervical dysplasia, colds, constipation, crohns disease, depression, diabetics, drug toxicity, exposure to pollutants, headaches, heart disease, high blood cholesterol, hypertension, infections, infertility, inflammation, lactation, moodiness, parkinsonism, periodontal disease, pregnancy, premature infants, prickly heat, smokers, strenuous exercise, stress, surgery, tooth decay, trauma, vascular fragility, wound healing, in infections, promotes fine bone and teeth formation, helps heal wounds. Vitamin C is used by white blood cells which fight infection and also in the manufacture of collagen known as the cement that holds all cells and tissues together and helps wounds healing. Signs of a deficiency in Vitamin C are a shortness of breath, impaired digestion, bleeding gums, weakened enamel or dentine, tendency to bruising, swollen or painful joints, nosebleeds, anaemia, lowered resistance to infections and slow healing of wounds and fractures. Severe deficiency results in scurvy. Breaks in the capillary walls are signs of Vitamin C deficiency and clots usually form at the point of the break. Therefore a lack of Vitamin C is a probable cause of heart attacks and strokes initiated by clots.

Suggested Dosage

Adults: 2g (1/2 - 5ml metric teaspoon) in a glass of water twice daily. Children: 2-12 years 1 gram (1/4-5ml metric teaspoon) in a glass of water, or as advised by a health care professional. Not to be used in children under the age of 2 years without professional advice. The powder when stirred in a glass of water provides a refreshing citrus tasting drink.

Vitamin C is the best known vitamin and plays the most important role in maintaining our health and well being. Similarly, Hesperiden, a bioflavonoid, is essential for promoting the circulatory system by preserving the integrity of the blood vessels - particularly the fragile capillaries and reduction of capillary filtration rate, without affecting blood flow or venous capacity. Flavonoids also improve chronic venous insufficiencies. Both Vitamin C & hesperidin work synergistically as evident by their common occurrence naturally in citrus fruits, cherries , grapes, potatoes etc. Deficiency symptoms: Irregular blood pressure in both arms, pins and needles sensation in finger tips and toes, tender gums with bleeding during brushing of teeth, cold hands and feet, susceptible to catching cold and minor infections, suffering occasional cramps, bruise easily, feeling dizzy when suddenly standing from sitting, bending or lying down, crackling joints, experiencing shortness of breath, sensitive and/or lack of tolerance to heat or cold. If the answer is yes to the above symptoms, then it may well be that a Vitamin C and Hesperidin deficiency exists and administering Vitamin C with Hesperidin complex is a pleasant and convenient way of supplementing Vitamin C and providing temporary relief. 2grm (1 tsp) of the powder is stirred in a glass of water. It makes a pleasant citrus flavoured drink, providing a minimum of 1010mg of vitamin C and 225mg of hesperidin and 42.4mg of elemental calcium.

Ferrum Metallicum (H) 30X 2.50mg, Manganum Metallicum (H) 30X 2.50mg, Zincum Metallicum (H) 30X 2.50mg, Selenium (H) 30X 5.0mg. Naturally sweetened with stevia and lemon flavour complex. Contains no: yeast, corn products, wheat products, artificial sweeteners, flavouring, lactose and cane sugar. No animal products or preservatives.
