Common Uses

Main indications for use: Ideal everyday supplement to maintain health. Gut flora and general well being. Gastro intestinal health. Diarrhoea/constipation, Immune enhancement. Respiratory infections (children and adults). Allergies, atopic eczema, pollen allergies. Colorectal cancer prevention. Suitable for all age groups.

Suggested Dosage

Adults: Take 1 capsule once or twice daily with food.

Children (3 years and over): Take 1/2 to 1 capsule daily.

For young children, capsule should be opened and the contents mixed with milk or water.  Do not reheat.

If taking antibiotics, take at least 3 hours before or after each dose.

Clinicians Multiflora contains two of the most studied and scientifically researched probiotic in the world and when combined, these strains have demonstrated synergistic effects. Lactobacillus rhamnosus GG and Bifidobacterium animalis BB-12 can be used for a multitude of gastrointestinal conditions, including diarrhoea, constipation and irritable bowel syndrome. Infectious diarrhoea, travellers diarrhoea and antibiotic associated diarrhoea and diarrhoea of viral aetiology (rotavirus) have all benefited from the probiotic strains in Multiflora.

Multiflora is considered a beneficial adjunct to conventional triple treatment for the eradication of H Pylori. Other applications include atopic eczema in children and infants. Ingredients

Each Vegetable capsule contains: Total probiotic bacteria (at the time of manufacture) No less than 7 billion CFU, Consisting of Lactobacillus rhamnosus LGG 3.5 billion CFU, Bifidobacterium animalis BB-12 3.5 billion CFU. Capsule also contains: maltodextrin, microcrystalline cellulose, silicon dioxide and magnesium stearate. May contain traces of milk products. No added gluten or wheat, artificial colours, sweeteners, flavours or preservatives.

Safety Information

Keep out of reach of Children. Store below 25 C Should be suitable for lactose intolerant individuals. Individuals with severe IgE mediated dairy allergies should avoid taking this product. Consult your health care professional before using with the following treatments and or conditions: radiation therapy, recent oral or gastrointestinal surgery (particularly short bowel loop) and those who are immuno suppressed (e.g. HIV). Under such circumstances, there is increased susceptibility of bacterial translocation and subsequent infections such as liver abscesses, endocarditis and septicaemia.
