Common Uses

Dr Christopher's adrenal support formula - formerly called Adrenetone. It is an excellent formula especially useful for those who are under stress, tired, run down, depressed or have allergies.

Suggested Dosage

Two or three capsules one-half hour before meals with water or prepare as a tea. Duration of usage depends on the individual, but dosage can be lowered to one capsule before meals for a long-term maintenance dose, once normal balance and function has been restored. When used at high dosages, additional potassium should be supplied (in the form of supplements, or from bananas or citrus fruits). This formula should be avoided by people with hypertension.

Mullein is considered the perfect "gland food" and a mucous membrane tonic with a wide range of ingredients making it ideal for many glandular and respiratory tract conditions. Licorice helps the adrenals cope with stress, (including the physical stress that emotions, illness, and allergies can create) and promotes healthy adrenal function. Siberian ginseng is an adaptogenic (helps the body adapt to stress) tonic that helps ease stress and boost energy and endurance. Gotu kola is an adaptogenic tonic that relieves fatigue and stimulates the function of the adrenals. Also improves circulation, nerve regulation, wound healing, skin and connective tissue repair. Hawthorn berries reduce cardiac stress, help balance heart function and circulation and improves tone and elasticity of arteries and veins. Lobelia is a respiratory stimulant that has also been shown to stimulate the adrenals. Cayenne improves circulation whilst bringing oxygen and nutrients to the glands. Ginger is a digestive herb which helps soothe stomach upsets and flush out congested capillaries.

Proprietary blend: 450mg per Vegicap of: Mullein leaves, Gotu Kola herb, Cayenne pepper, Licorice root, Hawthorn berries, Ginger root, Siberian Ginseng root and Lobelia herb.

Safety Information

Keep out of reach of children. Not recommended in pregnancy. Should be avoided by people with hypertension. When taking this supplement watch for problems of fluid retention or mild hypertension.
