Olive leaf as a natural antibiotic effect, plus hypotensive and hypoglycaemic properties. Olive leaf has been found to boost energy, aid in the treatment of viral, bacterial. Yeast and fungal infections, chronic fatigue and allergies. It may also help lower and high blood sugar levels. Oleuropein, a bitter substance in olive leaves, is considered to be the main constituent involved in the therapeutic effects of olive leaf. Research has shown that oleuropein inhibits oxidation of low density lipoproteins (bad cholesterol) associated with heart and arterial disease. Olive leaf extract also causes relaxation of arterial walls, and can increase blood flow in the coronary arteries, relieve arrhythmias and prevent intestinal muscle spasms. Elenolic acid, another constituent of olive leaf, has been shown to inhibit the growth and replication of viruses. The substance stopped every virus it was tested against. The compound worked effectively and appeared extremely non toxic, even at high doses. Echinacea is a prime herb for the treatment of infections of all types, both through raising the immune response and directly via its anti-microbial action. Echinacea has a very broad range of applications having immuno-stimulatory, anti microbial, diaphoretic, anti inflammatory, alterative and vulnery actions.

Ingredients

Each 1 Vegetable capsule contains: Olive leaf extract 400mg, minimum 18% oleuropein, Echinacea angustifolia root extract 100mg, min 4% echinacosides. 100% Vegetarian formula. Cellulose capsule, magnesium stearate, silica. No corn, egg, gluten, milk derivatives, nuts, salt, soy, sugar, wheat, yeast, artificial preservatives, flavouring or colours.

Safety Information

Keep out of reach of Children. There are no known precautions, however some people may experience microbial "die-off" symptoms within four days of beginning usage. Symptoms may include fatigue, diarrhoea, headaches, muscle/joint achiness or flu-like symptoms. Keep in mind that such die off symptoms are positive signs, however if symptoms are too unpleasant, reduce the dosage, or stop altogether for a while. Ensure that enough water is being consumed (1 1/2-2 litres a daily) and the bowels are moving freely. Ideally take in conjunction with a probiotic supplement.
