Common Uses

Olive Leaf - has strong anti-microbial properties that help to slow the growth of bacteria and prevent the replication of viruses. Olive Leaf supports the health of the immune system and is beneficial in the treatment of the common cold.

Garlic - is effective in combating bacteria, viruses and fungi and supporting the immune system. In general it may be used as a preventative for most infectious conditions, digestive as well as respiratory. The anti-microbial action makes it suitable for treatment of respiratory infections, influenza, recurrent colds and respiratory catarrh.

Andrographis - is an immune system booster which may help to prevent the common cold and may reduce the duration and severity of the symptoms of the common cold. Andrographis may reduce the symptoms of most types of (upper) respiratory tract infections.

Echinacea - is well known for supporting the health of the immune system. A natural antibiotic and infection fighter, Echinacea helps to kill bacteria, viruses and fungi. Echinacea is suitable in the treatment of colds, sinusitis and bronchitis.

Pau D' Arco - assists in enhancing the body's immune system and helping to combat bacteria, viruses and fungi, reducing inflammation. Ideal for fighting cold and flu symptoms.

Citrus Bioflavonoids - Citrus fruits are well known for providing ample amounts of Vitamin C and Bioflavonoids. Derived from the peel of citrus fruits, Bioflavonoids are necessary for the proper absorption of Vitamin C and may be helpful for strengthening capillaries, reducing inflammation, enhancing the immune system and reducing histamine production.

Zinc - is an essential mineral required by every cell in the body. Zinc possesses anti-viral activity and is essential for the health of the immune system. Zinc protects the body against colds and flu.

Elderberry - specific in the treatment of colds and flu. Elderberry is indicated in any catarrhal inflammation of the upper respiratory tract, such as hayfever and sinusitis.

Vitamin C - is a powerful antioxidant. Vitamin C may help to counteract many types of bacterial and viral infections. Vitamin C may help to prevent and reduce the severity of respiratory tract infections. Vitamin C helps to prevent the common cold and may reduce the severity of symptoms and duration. In addition, bacterial and viral infections increase the body's Vitamin C requirements, therefore supplementation during this time is recommended.

Each 1 VegeCap contains: Olive Leaf (Olea europaea) ext. equiv. to dry leaf 5,000mg, equivalent Oleuropein 80mg, Garlic Low odour (Allium sativum) ext. equiv. to dry bulb 1,200mg, Andrographis (Andrographis panculata) ext. equiv. to dry leaf 1,200mg, Echinacea (Echinacea purpurea) ext. equiv. to dry 500mg, Pau D' Arco (Tabebuia avellanedae) ext. equiv. to dry stem bark 250mg, Citrus Bioflavonoids 20mg, Zinc citrate (equiv. to Zinc 5mg) 16mg, Elderberry (Sambucus nigra) ext. equiv. to dry fruit 220mg, Vitamin C (Calcium ascorbate) 250mg. Contains no added wheat, gluten, corn, yeast, milk, artificial flavours or preservatives. May contain encapsulating aids.
