Common Uses

May benefit any health condition connected with the prescence of low serotonin levels and magnesium deficiency.  This formula may prove beneficial for use by those with sleep problems, anxiety or phobias.  May also help those rehabilating after substance abuse. 

Suggested Dosage

One or two capsules 30 minutes before bedtime.  Best taken away from food.  Do not exceed 3 capsules without professional advice.

Serotonin is a neurotransmitter produced by several organs, from the breakdown product of the amino acid tryptophan from in protein foods. 5HTP is an intermediate metabolite between tryptophan and serotonin that enhances the body's natural production of serotonin. Serotonin has an inhibitory effect that gives rise to feelings of peacefulness and contentment. It also plays a role in the production of melatonin, the neurotransmitter that controls the sleep-wake cycle. Radiance SeroTone Sleep has been designed to combine the benefits of 5HTP with standardized valerian - a premier sedative herb, passion flower - a calming sedative and relaxant and the muscular relaxation benefits of magnesium and calcium, to provide a superb formula for not only improved sleep quality.

Ingredients

Each 1 capsule contains: Valerian root (4:1 extract standardised to 0.8% valerianic acid) 162mg, Magnesium (aminoate) 70mg, Passionflower (4:1 extract) 65mg, Calcium citrate 30mg, 5-HTP (5 Hydroxytryptophan) 20mg. 100% vegetarian. Vegetable cellulose capsule, magnesium stearate, silica. No corn, egg, gluten, milk derivatives, nuts, salt, soy, sugar, wheat, yeast, artificial preservatives, flavouring or colours.
