Only Emu products has addressed the growing problem of head lice, and with the success of its natural insect repelling pure essential oils of Neem, citronella, tea tree, penny royal and orange oil, in a gentle soap base, which aids in keeping your child head free of the biting and itching pests.

Suggested Dosage

If you child already has headlice - First application - (Do not use shampoo first) Thoroughly wet the hair. For best results, lather with warm water. Apply the soap around the hairline, front, back and sides behind the ears, (rubbing into the scalp and root area of hairshaft), then apply lather through a parting in the center, and then re-part down each side of the scalp as though you are applying a hair colour (it must be this thorough to ensure nothing is missed). Once all of the scalp is covered, lather and allow the soap to penetrate for as long as possible (30 minutes is good) before rinsing and conditioning as normal. As a true test, comb the hair with a nit comb while the conditioner is in the hair and you will see the dead lice and their eggs coming out of the hair. Second application - Two days after the first application, repeat above process to remove any stubborn eggs that may have been missed from the first application. No Nits Soap can be used once or twice a week as a preventative to outbreak of headlice.
