Cimicifuga racemosa (black cohosh) is a herbal extract that has been scientifically researched to provide symptomatic relief for women experiencing PMS, peri-menopausal and menopausal symptoms. Black cohosh extracts come in many varied qualities and strengths all extremely integral to the actual end effectiveness of the finished product. The Black cohosh extract used in 30 Plus has been standardised to a level acknowledged by German research and shown in clinical studies to be a consistent and effective form of the extract. Tyrosine is an essential amino acid which has several functions that benefit women who are experiencing hormonal fluctuations or imbalances related to PMS symptoms. Tyrosine is a precursor to natural brain neurotransmitters, endorphins. Endorphins are the substances that make us feel good, therefore tyrosine can assist in the symptomatic relief of mood changes commonly referred to as mood swings, irritability, emotional instability, mild anxiety and nervous tension. During times of stress and tension our adrenal glands tend to burn out. As a result a feeling of tiredness may be experienced. Tyrosine is an essential nutrient for the adrenals and is beneficial during times of stress. Tyrosine is also an essential nutrient for the thyroid. Tyrosine forms the thyroid hormone thyroxine, which regulates the metabolism. Vitamin B6 has been scientifically researched for the relief of PMS symptoms such as, mild anxiety, mood changes and irritability. Supplementation of 50mg of vitamin B6 a day may assist in the relief of symptoms related to PMS and associated hormonal imbalances. Folic acid is necessary for the correct synthesis of hormones. If the body does not synthesise its hormones correctly, then an imbalance can exist. A complex pathway of hormone synthesis exists. Without adequate levels of folic acid the body will not be able to manufacture the correct levels of hormones needed, thus an imbalance may be created. Optimum dosage of folic acid is 200mcg per day. Vitamin B12 is necessary for the correct detoxification of hormones. Along with vitamin B6 and folic acid, vitamin B12 assists in breaking down hormones properly so they do not create an imbalance. It is recommended that 300mcg of vitamin B12 daily is needed to achieve this effect. Chromium is an essential nutrient for the maintenance of some hormones within the body. 30 PLUS provides 200mcg of Chromium Picolinate per tablet.

How long before I can expect to see results?  Generally it will take 2 menstrual cycles (6-8 weeks) for 30 PLUS to help balance your hormonal system. Some women have reported great results within 2-3 weeks, but as everyone is different, we strongly suggest you stay on 30PLUS for at least 6-8 weeks for full effectiveness. You may experience results earlier or it may take a little longer.

Are the AM and PM tablets different: No, they are exactly the same but are packaged in AM/PM dosages for your convenience.  it is best to take 1 tablet in the morning and 1 tablet at night with meals.  You can start taking 30PLUS at any time during your cycle.

Can I take 30PLUS if I am on the pill?  Yes. 30 PLUS will not interact with the contraceptive pill.
