Early trials used Glucosamine for inflammatory disorders of the gastrointestinal tract, including ulcerative colitis, Crohn's disease and irritable bowel. Glucosamine sulphate is 95% absorbable when given orally and 30% of the oral dose is retained by the musculoskeletal system for long time periods. It stimulates proteoglycan synthesis in cartilage and other connective tissue. It is the preferred precursor for proteoglycan synthesis including Chondroitin sulphate and Hyaluronic acid. Hyaluronic acid, the central organising molecule of the proteoglycan and the major component of the cartilage/synovial membrane interface is 50% glucosamine. Taking this supplement will help to give your body ingredients to help make new cartilage, to help in the repair of cartilage, ligament and tendon damage.

Suggested Dosage

Take 15ml (approx 1 level tablespoon) daily. Can also be mixed with water or fruit juice.. Shake well before use. Refrigerate after opening. For adult use only. Blackcurrant flavour.

The fluid acts as a powerful shock absorber and transports nutrients to the cartilage, protecting existing cartilage from premature breakdown. MSM Methyl Sulphate Methane (MSM) supports healthy connective tissues, such as tendons and muscles. MSM is a naturally-occurring nutrient, and is an organic form of sulphur that is easily absorbed by the body. It has a unique action on body tissues by decreasing the pressure inside the cells. Thus, it assists with removing fluids and toxins from the cells. MSM is often helpful in strengthening fragile hair and nails.
