What are the benefits of flax magic oil? Flax magic will give children the essential Omega-3 and Omega-6s to provide the structural and energy requirements of their very rapidly growing brain. Suggested Dosage

Serving size is 1 tbls or 15ml. We suggest starting your child on this blend once they are on solids. Start off on 1/2 tsp and build up to the recommended serving of 1 tbls. Do not give on an empty stomach. Flax magic can be used for your children to enrich yoghurt, smoothies, cottage cheese, drizzled over breakfast or they may prefer it off the spoon. To protect the nutritional qualities of this oil, it is best kept in the fridge, and is not suitable for cooking/heating.

From Flax seed oil we have the primary Omega-3 alpha linolenic acid (ALA), the primary Omega-6 linolenic acid (LA) and the monounsaturated Omega-9 oleic acid. Hemp and blackcurrant seed oils contribute the secondary Omega-3 stearidonic acid (SDA) and the secondary Omeag-6 gamma linolenic acid (GLA). Golden flax contains Omega-6 and we add evening primrose seed oil to top up the GLA. Its easier for your body to utilize these secondary Omega-3 and Omega-6 fatty acids because no conversion is required. SDA and GLA are the building blocks used by your body to product "good" prostaglandins - those with anti inflammatory and anti-clotting effects. The wide range of naturally occurring fatty acids is what makes flax magic so special.

Waihi Bush stringent processing standards Like the rest of the Waihi bush organic farm products, Flax magic falls in line with their stringent processing standards from pressing the flax seed right though to packing the finished product. Flax magic is processed in the absence of light, air and reactive metals and packaged in black HDPE plastic under a blanket of inert gas, to dispel oxygen, further protecting it against light and oxygen damage.
