However, there are thought to be as many people who are dairy protein intolerant as there are with lactose digesting problems. For this reason this formula incorporates protease, lactase and lipase for complete dairy food digestion. Dairy intolerance is especially concentrated among indigenous ethnic groups, Maori, Polynesians, Asians and Indians, as their genetic heritage has not prepared them for ingestion of cow's milk products. Dairy intolerance is typically associated with symptoms of nausea, bloating, cramping, gas and diarrhoea after intake of dairy products. Dairy intolerance comprises two parts: lactose (milk sugar) intolerance and dairy protein intolerance. Dairy intolerance symptoms are typically self-diagnosed as lactose intolerance, so much so that the two terms are often considered synonymous. Many health care practitioners will confirm that the terms dairy intolerance and lactose intolerance are usually not interchangeable and that many episodes of dairy intolerance are insufficiently treated as a lactose-only condition. NO corn, egg, gluten, nuts, salt, sugar, wheat, artificial preservatives, flavouring or colours. Close lid tightly. Store in a cool dry place.
