Common Uses

Chaste Tree provides premenstrual support and can help regain regularity after discontinuation of oral contraceptives. It is thought to work by reducing prolactin and possibly increasing progesterone. It can help relieve PMS symptoms, breast pain and enhance fertility. Chaste Tree (Vitex) is used to normalize menstruation in women with shortened, lengthened or infrequent menstruation. Peony A traditional Chinese herb which has been used in China for 3000 years for aiding hormonal and reproductive health, Peony supports normal ovarian functions, aids menstrual discomfort and helps conditions associated with hormonal imbalance. May also help to relieve smooth muscle spasms dysmenorrhoea (painful periods) and uterine fibroids. Also helps with hormonal imbalances such as elevated androgens, low progesterone, high or low oestrogen and elevated prolactin. May help such conditions as PCOS, PMS, Infertility, endometriosis and breast health. Chamomile Helps soothe nervous tension and irritability, and is beneficial for cramping, bloating and abdominal discomfort. Vitamin B6 Essential for healthy reproductive and nervous system function, Vitamin B6 helps relieve premenstrual symptoms such as headaches, pressure and tenderness of the breasts, bloating, fatigue, carbohydrate craving, nervousness, anxiety, irritability and premenstrual depression. B6 is used in the body's manufacture of serotonin and GABA these neurotransmitters are important in the control of depression, pain perception and anxiety.
