Suggested Dosage

Adults: Take 1 to 3 capsules, 1-2 hours before retiring or as professionally prescribed. CAUTION: Not suitable for children or while breast feeding. Should not be taken with or within 4 weeks of taking prescription medicines for sleep disorders. Do not take with I-Dopa or other medicines for Parkinson's or with anti depressants.

Health Information

Serotonin is a brain chemical produced by the body to aid normal sleep function. Low serotonin levels are associated with restlessness, sleeplessness, anxiety, frazzled nerves and tension. The serotonin precursor 5 -hydroxytryptophan (5-HTP) has been shown to help bring on sleep. 5 HTP is a natural substance that can be made by the body and is also extracted from the Griffonia plant. As well as containing 5-HTP, this product also combines the relaxing herbs Passionflower, Skullcap, Californian Poppy and Jamaican dogwood - to enhance the effect. Magnesium has also been added, to make this a well combined relaxing/sleeping formulation - working on many different aspects relating to sleeplessness.

Per capsule. Herbal extracts equivalent to dry: 5 HTP (1 5-hydroxytryptophan standardised from Griffonia simplicofolia ) seeds 50mg, Passion flower (passiflora incarnata) Aerial parts 750mg, Skullcap ( Scutellaria lateriflora) Aerial parts 750mg, Californian Poppy (eschscholtzia californica) Aerial parts 50mg, Jamaican Dogwood (piscidia piscipula) root 50mg. Nutrients Magnesium oxide 50mg, Vitamin B6 10mg No corn, gluten, lactose, sugar, wheat, yeast, artificial colour, flavour or preservative. Store dry and cool, below 30c.
