Common Uses

To help soothe an irritated digestive system, caused by nervousness, overeating and/or changes in the diet. Colic, flatulence, spasms and spasmodic pain, nausea, IBS (irritable bowel syndrome). Also anti fungal & anti bacterial properties, due to the ginger oil.

Suggested Dosage

Take 1 softgel up to three times daily, between or after meals, as required.

Health Information

For centuries Peppermint has been traditionally used for gastrointestinal upsets, cramps, gas and nausea. Modern research focuses on the oil that helps soothe occasional disruptions in the bowel, caused by nervousness, over eating and /or changes in the diet. These enteric-coated softgels pass through the stomach to release the oils within the intestinal tract where they are better tolerated and more effective. Some clinical evidence also suggests that Peppermint oil will help reduce intestinal spasm, often experienced during intestinal exploratory or surgical procedures. In addition to the peppermint oil, these soft gel capsule also contain Ginger and Fennel oil. The ginger has considerable anti fungal and anti bacterial activity helping maintain the healthy ecology of the intestine and Fennel is calming and soothing helping to relieve intestinal cramping and indigestion.

Ingredients

Each softgel contains: Peppermint oil (Mentha piperita) 180mg, Ginger oil (zingiber officinale) 20mg, Fennel oil (foeniculum vulgare) 20mg. Other ingredients: Gelatin, glycerine, water, carob extract, enteric coated cpasule, soybean oil. No corn, egg, gluten, milk derivatives, nuts, salt, sugar, wheat, yeast, artificial preservatives, flavouring or colours.

Safety Information

Keep out of reach of Children. All cases of gastrointestinal pain and discomfort needs further exploration and investigation. For temporary use only. Large doses are not recommended during pregnancy. May exacerbate oesophageal reflux and heartburn in some people with low HCI or taking antacids.
