Natures Sunshine have formulated this excellent product, which contains a combination of Nutritive rich herbs. These include Alfalfa, a protein rich food, containing enzymes, chlorophyll, all the known vitamins and many organic minerals. The prominent minerals are potassium, iron, sodium, copper, chlorine, silica sulphur, magnesium and calcium. In fact, Alfalfa has a particularly high amount of calcium - it contains 14 times more calcium than wheat germ and 144 times more calcium than liver per kg. These high levels of minerals help to create the alkalising effect Alfalfa has on the body. Alfalfa also contains every essential amino acid. Horsetail Grass is naturally rich in silica, essential for the proper absorption of calcium in the body. It is said to have a strengthening effect on connective tissue making it helpful for problems relating to ligament and tendon problems. Oatstraw has a calming effect on the nervous system and helps with general relaxation. It has been used in the past for stomach & digestive stress. Wheat grass is a pure & natural green super food, which contains high levels of Vitamins, antioxidants and trace minerals. As well as this, it is a valuable source of Beta carotene, Vitamin C, Folic acid & chlorophyll. Taking it helps to encourage Healthy intestinal flora.
