Suggested Dosage

Health Information

Deglycyrrhised Licorice root extract. Licorice was 1st used in the 1940's for help with stomach ulcers, but side effects of hypertension & fluid retention were noted. Glycyrrhizin (a naturally occurring component) is responsible for these. This lead to the manufacturing of products containing Deglycyrrhised licorice. This product has a glycyrrhizin content of not more than 3%, in a powdered base of PhytO2X, a special blend of natural antioxidants - Mixed tocopherols, rosemary extract and vitamin C. Solgar's Standardized Full Potency (SFP) Herbs are developed through a unique process that integrate the ideologies of both traditional herbalism and standardized herbal technology. To ensure consistent and reliable phytonutrient levels, they isolate a controlled amount of these important plant compounds. Then, they blend these enhanced, "standardized" compounds with all of the components that occur naturally in the whole raw herb. Each vegicaps provides: Standardized Deglycyrrhised Licorice Root Extract 250mg (<3mg[<1%] glycyrrhizin), Raw Licorice Root Powder 225mg, Vegicaps Capsule Shell 99mg (Vegetable cellulose, vegetable glycerin, water), Vegetable Magnesium Stearate 10mg, Vegetable Cellulose 5mg, PhytO2X Powdered Base (mixed tocopherols, rosemary extract and vitamin C) 500ug. This product is free of sugar, salt, corn, yeast, wheat dairy and animal products and is formulated without the use of preservatives, flavours or colours of any kind.
