Common Uses

Due to their anti-inflammatory and lubricating effects EFA's are commonly used in joint disorders such as arthritis and rheumatism, as well as skin problems - such as dry skin, eczema and psoriasis. As pre-cursors to prostaglandins, EFA's are also useful in PMT, menstrual cycle irregularities, endometriosis, menopause, stress and pain management. They have also been used to help with "heart health" problems, such as lowering blood cholesterol levels and in cardiovascular disease. Certain nervous system and visual difficulties may also benefit from EFA supplementation. As well as this EFA's may assist in helping with asthma, diabetes, allergies, inflammatory diseases, constipation and fluid retention.

Suggested Dosage

Adults: Take 1 or 2 softgels daily, with food or as directed by your health care professional.If you are taking this product for the first time: Four softgels daily with food for an initial 12 weeks.

Efamarine is specially formulated to help in three ways;  To supply Marine Fish Oils, which are rich in Omega-3 fatty acids EPA and DHA. These "good fats" play an important role in maintaining a heart health, good circulation and joint mobility, especially as we get older.  To supply GLA, which helps in the production of prostaglandin, chemical messengers that help to regulate many of the body's processes including the manufacture of anti-inflammatory chemicals for joint health.  To supply Vitamin E, which has important antioxidant properties and may also help maintain cardiovascular health.

Efamarine has been specially formulated to provide the important Omega-3 and Omega-6 fatty acids in the optimum ratio. Prostaglandins are chemical messengers that play a role in the body's action against inflammation. As levels of prostaglandin E1 drop, levels of the pro-inflammatory E2 rise. Efamarine's high levels of GLA mean the body may create more E1, reducing inflammation. The unique balance of fatty acids in Efamarine also help to inhibit the production of cholesterol. Efamarine is a convenient nutritional supplement that can be a useful addition to a healthy balanced diet, helping to safeguard the intake of these important nutrients.

Each Softgel Contains: Efamol Riegel Evening Primrose Oil (EPO) 720mg, Marine Fish Oil 268mg, Total Omega 3 & 6 nutrients 623mg providing: Gamma linolenic Acid (GLA) 80mg, Eicosapentaenoic acid (EPA) 40mg, Docosahexaenoic acid (DHA), Vitamin E (dl-alpha-tocopheryl acetate) 10mg.  gelatin, glycerine capsule.  No cod liver, corn, egg, gluten, milk derivatives, nuts, salt, soy, sugar, wheat, yeast, preservatives, flavouring or colours.  Keep out of reach of children.  Close lid tightly.  Store in a cool dry place.
