Common Uses

Deficiency symptoms include: reduced immunity to some infections; vomiting; restlessness; abdominal pains; burning feet; muscle cramps; and upper respiratory infections.

Pantothenic acid or Vitamin B5 is part of on of the Vitamin B complex family and is water soluble. It occurs in all living cells and is widely distributed in yeasts, mould, bacteria and individual cells of all animals and plants. It is synthesised in the body by the bacterial flora of the intestines. There is a close correlation between pantothenic acid tissue levels and the functioning of the adrenal cortex. It stimulates the adrenal glands hormones important for healthy skin and nerves. It also participates in the release of energy from carbohydrates, fats and proteins. Medicinal uses include its use in bone and joint disorders, poor digestion, poor immunity and to help defend against the effects of stress. It may help boost energy, improve athletic performance and speed wound healing.

Each capsule contains: Pantothenic Acid (Vitamin B5) 550mg, as d-Ca pantothenate.  Vegetable shell capsule: Hydroxypropylmethyl cellulose. Encapsulated with these natural ingredients: silicon dioxide, magnesium stearate.
