A deeply soothing and cleansing bar made from a base of gentle palm oil. Contains rosehip and evening primrose oil to nourish, protect and repair skin, leaving it feeling refreshed and velvety smooth. Enriched with aloe vera, jojoba oil and chamomile essential oil to soothe and soften dry skin and carrot oil to rejuvenate dull, tired skin. Best of all, the Trilogy soap bar is designed to snap in two so you'll have one for the bath and one for the shower! This beautiful soap contains only natural ingredients. These include sodium palmate & palm kernelate - A common base ingredient in all soaps, derived from natural palm and coconut oils. Rose Hip Oil - Extracted from the seed of the rose hip (Rosa canina), this oil contains over 80% essential fatty acids (EFA's). It also contains the phyto-nutrient lycopene, a powerful antioxidant carotenoid that prevents free radical damage and undoes sun damage. Evening Primrose Oil - Extracted from the seed of the evening primrose plant (Oenothera biennis), this oil contains 9% gamma linolenic acid (GLA) which is essential for the maintenance and regeneration of healthy epidermal skin cells. GLA promotes the production of prostaglandins which are hormone like substances that control a multitude of essential functions in the body. Evening Primrose Oil improves the skins natural ability to develop normal barrier functions. Helps treat dry skin conditions and rebalances sebaceous secretions. Excellent for replenishing dry, dull or damaged skin and suitable for sensitive skin types. Jojoba Oil - The fine consistency of jojoba oil means it can be readily absorbed by the skin, making it an excellent ingredient for a light, non-greasy cleansing soap. Jojoba oil is a natural moisturiser that soothes, softens and re-hydrates the skin without clogging pores. Chamomile Oil - Chamomile oil is well known for its ability to soothe inflamed and irritated skin and improve wound healing. Its aroma can also be effective on an emotional and mental level. Titanium Dioxide - Refined from natural clay and used in all soap bases to provide the soap with density and to mask fracture lines. Carrot Oil - The skin healing properties of carrot oil make it a useful ingredient in skin preparations to help treat wounds, eczema and psoriasis. Carrot oil acts to improve circulation and skin tone while rejuvenating and regenerating dry and mature skin. Aloe Vera leaf - Aloe vera is an effective healing agent for burns, injuries, acne and other skin damage. It has a cooling, soothing and hydrating effect while stimulating the growth of new cells and regeneration of skin tissue. Tetrasodium EDTA - A common ingredient in all soap bases which acts as a type of preservative, to prevent the soap from oxidising and turning brown.
