Common Uses

Ferr Phos may be useful for the following conditions; all the minor respiratory disorders, childhood illnesses (e.g. measles, scarlet fever, etc) first stage of all inflammations and fevers, congestions, haemorrhage, nose bleed, excessive periods, throbbing, congested headache, inflammatory rheumatism, coughs and colds, chills. This remedy can help to regulate the bowel - that is from either looseness or from constipation - useful for children. A little powdered Ferr.Phos ( when crushed into a powder) when applied externally can help staunch blood flow from small cuts and promote clean and rapid healing.

Suggested Dosage

Adults: Take 1 tablet, Children: Take half a tablet and for infants quarter of a tablet. For acute conditions: Take the appropriate dose every half an hour until symptoms subside. For chronic or maintenance dose, take the appropriate dosage four times daily. Take half an hour before meals. Place under the tongue, chew or dissolve in warm water.

Health Information

Tissue Salts were developed by a German doctor by the name of Wilhelm Schuessler in the 1800's. His theory was that many ailments were caused by imbalances of certain vital minerals in the cells of the body. This salt is found in all the tissues of the body, but mainly in the red blood cells. Iron is concerned with the oxygen-carrying capacity of the blood. Its use in muscular coats of blood vessels becomes apparent when the effects of deficiency are seen - this leads to relaxation of the walls of blood vessels which in turn leads to congestion and inflammation. Thus Ferr.Phos is used for all inflammations, that is all ailments ending with 'itis', e.g. bronchitis. This is a great children's remedy.

Ingredients

Each tablet contains 0.5 mcg of the Mineral Tissue Salt Ferr.Phos. in a lactose base.
