Common Uses

Nat. Phos is used for the following conditions; all acid states of the bloodstream, rheumatic arthritis, gout, acid taste, to help prevention of gall stones, sick headaches, giddiness, conjunctivitis, itching of nose, red, blotchy face, sea sickness, sour breath, grinding of teeth during sleep, yellow coated tongue, catarrh and thick yellow mucus, heartburn, nausea, morning sickness (pregnancy), gastric indigestion, sour flatulence, loss of appetite, constipation, diarrhoea, acidity, sterility from acidity, leucorrhoea-sour smelling.

Suggested Dosage

Adults take 4 tablets. Children 2 tablets. Infants 1 tablet. Tablets to be dissolved on the tongue. For Chronic cases use 3 doses daily. For Acute cases every half hour until relief is obtained; thereafter 3 doses daily.

Its first action has its uses in dealing with uric acid and lactic acid etc, thus helping to prevent or treat acid states. The second main function is seen in the help it can give in dyspepsia due to excessive intake or improper usage of fat.
