Common Uses

From the presence of Kali. Phos in other tissues of the body come its uses in the following conditions; all temporary nerviness, melancholia, hysteria, highly strung, fearfulness, despair, timidity and shyness, loss of mental and nerve power, nervous debility, emotional strain, excessive blushing, neuritis, incontinence or retention of urine from nervous causes nightmares- all 'unjustified' fears, e.g.; of water, inability to sleep, nervous indigestion, nervous diarrhoea, nervous headache, alopecia, nervous asthma, menstrual colic- spasms, cramps etc, ineffectual labour pains from anxiety, sexual incompetence and frigidity. Patients requiring this remedy are usually made worse by noises and moving about, and when left alone too long, and also by over excitement. They are helped by soothing company and conversation on uncontroversial topics. The remedy is useful at some stage in most illnesses, e.g. for the lack of sleep and panic. It can also be very useful for the relatives of patients who may very well need the help of a salt almost as much as the patient.

Suggested Dosage

Adults 4 tablets. Children 2 tablets. Infants 1 tablet. Tablets to be dissolved on the tongue. Chronic cases 3 doses daily. Acute cases every half hour until relief is obtained; thereafter 3 doses daily.

Tissue Salts were developed by a German doctor by the name of Wilhelm Schuessler in the 1800's. His theory was that many ailments were caused by imbalances of certain vital minerals in the cells of the body. Kali. Phos is the remedy for the nervous system and is the great nerve soother- phosphorus being the chief nerve mineral. It is used for all nervous disorders and those that are so often called 'neurotic' illnesses, and treating them along the lines is most helpful.

Ingredients

Each tablet contains Potassium Phosphate Ph. Eur. 6X, also contains lactose.
