Health Information

The Thyroid gland plays a vital role in regulating the body's metabolism & rate of energy product. When the thyroid is not functioning properly, every organ in the body will be effected, reducing the rate at which nutrients can be assimilated and toxic wastes can be eliminated. When the thyroid slows down and becomes under active, the rate of energy production slows down, so that there is a shortage of current within cellular factories. When large amounts of energy are required for a special task, other functions in the body are put on hold. For example, after a meal, a great deal of energy is required for the digestive process. Other functions, like thinking processes, slow down. It is not unusual for people with a low thyroid to fall asleep after eating. Some low thyroid people wake up feeling good, but as the day wears on, they get very tired. Typically they burn out between 4-6 pm. Its unique formula contains the following : L-tyrosine - An amino acid precursor of thyroid hormones. Low blood levels of tyrosine have been associated with hypothyroid conditions. L-Aspartic acid - Chronic fatigue may result from low levels of aspartic acid, an amino acid that enhances cellular energy production. Magnesium & Potassium aspartate - Deficiencies of these amino acid/mineral complexes may effect several symptoms of low thyroid function including: irritability, weakness, muscle tremors, anorexia, alopecia (hair loss) fatigue and cardiovascular problems. Zinc - A deficiency may result in a lowered production of active thyroid hormones (low levels of zinc have been reported in hypothyroid conditions). Manganese - Deficiencies may contribute to symptoms of hypothyroidism including: dermatitis, slow hair growth, low energy production resulting in fatigue. Iodine - Production of thyroid hormones requires iodine and tyrosine. A deficiency of iodine can result in depresses function of the thyroid gland. Vitamins B1, B2 & B3 - Act as con-enzymes in energy and normal thyroid hormone production. They are also important for maintenance of a healthy nervous system, skin, hair and muscle tone.

Each tablet contains Thiamin (vitamin B-1)(as thiamine HCI) 15mg, Riboflavin (vitamin B-2) 25mg, Niacin (as 48% niacin & 52% niacinamide) 25mg, Iodine (as Kelp) 225 mcg, Magnesium (as magnesium aspartate and magnesium oxide) 100mg, Zinc (as zinc picolinate) 5mg, Manganese (as manganese citrate) 5mg, Potassium (as potassium aspartate) 99mg, L-Tyrosine (free form) 250mg, L-Aspartic Acid (free form) 100mg. Other ingredients Cellulose, stearic acid, magnesium stearate, silica, cellulose & glycerine coating, vegetable glaze.  No wheat, yeast, soy, gluten, milk, salt, sugar, preservatives or artificial colour.
