Common Uses

Traditionally used for the symptomatic relief of shock - both physical and emotional. A must for the first aid kit for everyday injuries and accidents. Arnica helps reduce inflammation and therefore soothes pain. It aids wound healing by improving the blood flow to the area, and helps soothe the nerve endings. Arnica also has counter-irritant properties, (isomeric alcohols) which help increase local circulation. It has been used for the temporary relief of a deep-seated painful irritation. Helps stimulate peripheral blood supply, thereby promoting speedy repair of bruises, sprains and swellings.

Suggested Dosage

Rub gently into the affected area 3 to 4 times a day or as directed.

Arnica is one of the most frequently used homoeopathic remedies. Extracts from the plant Arnica montana have been traditionally used in both herbal and homoeopathic form for many years, to help minimise the immediate effects of tissue trauma from various causes and assist in the healing process.
