Common Uses

Cleansing Clay Mask from Dr Hauschka exfoliates and purifies. It acts as a holistic exfoliant and deep cleanser for all skin conditions. Extracts of witch hazel and Indian cress in a base of clay-earth absorb skin secretions. The appearance of blemishes and blackheads is reduced and dead skin cells are sloughed away. New skin is nurtured and vitalised. Always apply to skin that is moist. The mask only remains active while it is wet; once dry remove with a warm moist cloth or facial sponge.

Suggested Dosage

Application: After cleansing with Dr Hauschka Cleansing cream or cleansing milk, prepare the mask by mixing 1 teaspoon of the powder with an equal amount of water and mix to a soft creamy consistency. Clay can also be mixed with Cleansing Milk and Toner. Depending on your skin conditioner, you could add to the powder a little delicious Siliceous with Pollen and/or a small amount of Day cream. Next, steam with Dr Hauschka Facial Steam bath. The moist heat helps to loosen impurities and relax the skin. Following the steam, apply the prepared mask to facial skin with a flat brush or the fingertips, working from the centre of the face outwards. Avoid the eye area. The mask remains on the skin equal to the time one has steamed: Oily, impure skin, 10 to 15 minutes. Dry or normal skin, 5 to 10 minutes. Sensitive skin, 3 to 5 minutes. Remove the mask by rinsing thoroughly with warm water and finishing with a splash of cool water.
