Suggested Dosage

Each 10ml (1/2 measuring capful or 2 teaspoons) contains the equivalent of 7.5mg iron. The suggested dosage is: Infants 0-6 months of age: Take max of 5ml daily or as recommended by your doctor. 7-12 months of age: Take 5ml daily. Children 1-5yrs of age: Take max 5ml twice daily. 6-12yrs of age: Take max 5ml three times daily. Adults: Take 10ml twice daily before morning and evening meals.

Floradix is a naturally sourced supplement that provides iron, vitamins, folic acid, herbal extracts and delicious fruit concentrates. Studies show that Floradix may produce, in conditions of anaemia, a 20% increase in red blood cells, which has not been achieved by any other iron formula. A special type of nutritional yeast (saccharomyces Cerevisiae) is fed with iron gluconate. The yeast cells take up the iron and through an enzymatic reaction, the iron is transformed to an absorbable iron as it is not bound to cell-specific chelate building substances. These specially cultures yeast cells are then extracted by a complex, yet natural process to bring the iron and vitamins into a liquid form. This is combined with digestive herbs and whole food concentrates, B vitamins and vitamin C to form Floradix Iron Liquid. It is a unique liquid formulation which will give you fast effective relief from the symptoms of iron deficiency. Floradix guarantees a high absorption of iron, aided by vitamin C. It contains folic acid, important during the 3 months prior to and after conception to help prevent birth defects. Floradix contains B vitamins for their various metabolic functions, and specifically vitamins B6, B12 and folic acid which also helps in the production of haemoglobin and red blood cells. Floradix - the non constipating iron formula. Most forms of iron can be a major cause of constipation. Due to the low absorption rate of most iron supplements, high amounts of un-absorbable iron are moved by the body to the intestinal walls, causing the mucous lining to swell up. This constricts the bowels and constipation results. This condition can last from 1 day to 1 week. At the best of times, constipation is painful and irritating. During pregnancy is can become incapacitating. 10ml = 1/2 measuring capful or 2 teaspoons, which contains: 5.95g Aqueous extract from: carrots, nettles, spinach, quitch roots, angelica roots, fennel, ocean kelp, African mallow blossom, orange peel. 3.24g Fruit Concentrates of: pears, red grapes, black currants, oranges, blackberries, cherries, beetroots. 1.17g Aqueous extract of Iron-fed Yeast with: Absorbable iron 7.5mg, and added Thiamine (B1) 1.0mg, Riboflavin (B2) 0.9mg, Vitamin B6 0.5mg, Vitamin B12 0.6mcg, Vitamin C 10mg, Honey 0.42g, Rose hip aqueous dry extract 0.10g, Wheat germ aqueous extract 0.02g. Floradix contains no artificial preservatives, colouring or flavours.

Safety Information

Keep out of reach of Children. Shake the bottle before use. Use the measuring cap or a spoon and do not drink directly from the bottle. Refrigerate after opening and use within 4 weeks. Take at meals, at least 1 hour away from tea and coffee or chocolate drinks.
