Common Uses

This combination may prove particularly useful as an anti-inflammatory in cases of sinusitis, bronchitis, bursitis, tendonitis, gout, hives, sports and other injuries and allergic reactions. May be used to assist with trauma before and after surgery. It appears to offer an alternative to non steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs. May also assist with any anti-cancer regime.

Suggested Dosage

Two capsules 20 minutes before meals, two to three times daily. People with sensitive stomachs may take capsules with meals.

Quercetin is a potent antioxidant and anti-inflammatory that has been shown to help prevent histamine release and the manufacture of allergy related compounds. Quercetin, a cousin of Rutin, is a bioflavonoid which accompanies Vitamin C in nature. Our Quercetin is from a non-citrus source making it suitable for people with allergies, especially to citrus fruits. Research indicates Quercetin as being a strong anti-cancer agent. It acts to protect and preserve the structure of capillary blood vessels, promote circulation, stimulate bile production and lower cholesterol. It has a powerful anti-inflammatory effect and may be helpful to those suffering from swelling due to an injury and from allergic reactions. It is known to reduce viral activity. Bromelain is a protein digesting enzyme derived from pineapples and enhances the absorption of Quercetin as well as being an anti-inflammatory. It may be helpful in reducing inflammation in sports injuries and helping prevent trauma before and after surgery. Bromelain, is a protease containing enzyme derived from pineapples and is added to enhance the absorption of Quercetin. Bromelain helps promote circulation and post-traumatic reabsorption of inflammatory by-products, thus allowing speedier recovery time from injuries. It reduces swelling and inflammation and helps reduce pain symptoms.

Ingredients

Each capsule contains: Quercetin 400mg, Bromelain 100mg. 100% vegetarian. Cellulose capsule, rice flour, magnesium stearate, silica. No corn, egg, gluten, milk derivatives, nuts, salicylates, salt, soy, sugar, artificial preservatives, flavourings or additives.

Safety Information

Keep out of reach of Children. Not recommended in high doses with blood thinners, before/during surgery or with haemophilia and other bleeding disorders. Close lid tightly. Store in a cool dry place.
