Health Information

Dandelion leaf is an excellent diuretic, to assist with the flow of fluid through the kidneys and bladder. The diuretic effect reduces swelling and fluid retention associated to poor vascular and lymphatic health. High in carotenoids and inulin, Dandelion leaf may also help reduce inflammation and stimulate immune activity. Horse chestnut is an astringent herb used traditionally to increase vascular strength and tone. Its active constituent aescin has a "sealing" effect on the capillaries reducing the number and diameter of the small pores of the capillary wall through which exchange of fluids occurs. Butcher's broom is an anti-inflammatory and anti-vasoconstrictive herb. Much research has been done in Europe where it is widely used for treatment of varicose veins. Prickly ash provides whole-plant quantities of magnoflorine, which promotes proper blood flow through the modulation of platelet aggregation; and xanthoxylin, which inhibits inflammation. Cayenne provides capsaicin and other compounds, which help relieve pain and inflammation and reduce stress on fragile capillaries by expanding blood vessels and improving circulation. Tru-OPC's are powerful antioxidants that help to strengthen capillary walls and micro-capillaries. This reduces leakage and valve and capillary insufficiency. Vitamin C is an important co-factor to OPC's in the creation and preservation of collagen proteins. Vitamin C facilitates the conversion of key amino acids, which are essential collagen components.

Per 2 capsules: Vitamin C (ascorbic acid) 30mg, Horsechestnut extract (seed) 300mg, 20% Aescin, Dandelion (leaf) 150mg, Butchers Broom (root) 150mg, Cayenne pepper (fruit) 150mg, Prickly Ash (bark) 50mg, Tru-OPC's (grape seed extract) 37mg. Other Ingredients: Gelatine, Millet, Magnesium stearate.

Safety Information

Keep out of reach of children. Not recommended for concomitant use with strong blood thinners such as Warfarin or Heparin, due to grapeseed content. Use with caution in early pregnancy and lactation.
